Energy Source for House

If I had to choose one energy source to power the house I was going to live in for the rest of my life, I would choose solar energy. I would choose solar energy because it does not emit any type of pollutants when it is in use. It is also renewable so I would never have to worry about running out of it. To fix the problems with my source, I would invent a solar pannel that collects more energy and stores it for longer. This way if there was an eclipse of it was dark, I would always have energy. I would also make solar pannels stronger and more durable incase of harsh weather. Then they wouldn't break because of wind, rain, snow, or hail. I would also include many sky lights in my house just in case my solar panels would some how break. In conclusion, I would choose solar energy to power my house because it does not emit any pollutants when it is being used and it is a renewable source so i would never run out of energy.
